Welcome to Guuurl, That's My Jam!

Here, have some rules:

1. Prompts are bi-weekly (lasting 14 days) and the rotational schedule to pick prompts can be found to your right, under ►Playlist. An "at-a-glance" version of the current jam can be found under ►Now Playing.

2. Posting a fill for each prompt isn't mandatory, but you MUST post at least one fill for the prompt preceding yours, otherwise your turn to pick a prompt will be skipped.

3. Please don't ask to join the blog (unless we know you). This place was created for classmates to keep in touch upon graduation, and as such it's pretty much invite only. You're more than welcome to follow for updates or play along at home and post the results at your own blogs. :)

The COOL FACTORY

So everyone knows the superheroes who were less than great -the superheroes who lacked in the super department. The superheroes who were more thuperduper than actually incredible.

So I ask you, since everyone had so much fun with superheroes last time, let's take the less than great ones - and make them cool again.

Think: http://www.manolith.com/2010/02/10/15-lamest-superhero-powers/ or there used to be one on cracked but hell if I can find it right now.

I'll post it if I can!

Also, try to use more DC characters than Marvel, we had a Marvel onslaught last time!

Petar of the Spider

Sorry I'm late!  To be fair I sketched out several characters, but it turns out that Superman and the Fantastic Four are still boring in fantasy settings.  However, inspiration struck for this little goblin hunter.  Shading to follow?  Maybe?  I'm digging the flat colors personally.  Oh and for added nerdiness, those are goggles of advanced perception, twin bags of endless hooks and grapples and of course, boots of spider climb.

PS-  If this blog is any indication, the Xmen are clearly the only superheros who matter as Spidey here is the only one who's not on the team.  I was this close to doing a Martian Man Hunter ranger, just to give DC some love.
