New Year Dragon

Happy 2012!!

While we're still a few weeks early to ring in the Chinese New Year, 2012 is the year of the Dragon! For this prompt, draw me some Dragons, RAWR!

Not sure what to have them doing? Maybe they're interacting with your own personal zodiac sign, maybe your dragon is throwing on party hats and celebrating it's upcoming year early. Or maybe your dragon is simply soaring majestically through the skies or stalking deep underground caverns. Western dragons, Asian dragons, Fairy Dragons, or even Dragonborn, any dragon goes! Let's start off the year with a flight of dragons!

And here's to wishing everyone a happy new year full of joy, prosperity, and good health!! Happy 2012!

Taurus the Bull

Went the graphic route, since well, a humanoid bull is pretty much a Minotaur (or Tauren, for you WoW players) and I've already drawn one of those before... wearing chaps, even, heh.
Also, I've always wanted an excuse to just draw a fancy Taurus design. :)

Edit: Overlayed the actual Taurus constellation on to the image.

Mostly just messing around with some different animation techniques on a partial Aang rig I put together while in Atlanta, nothing fancy.

Stealing a page from Vanessa's prompt, going back to your childhood... What was your favourite cartoon series growing up? Draw a picture of who was or were your favourite character(s) from that show.

Here's the twist:
Draw your character or characters fighting the character featured in the entry before yours!
You may enter multiple times, but you have to use a different character from the same show (so, for example, I can't use Optimus Prime again in a later entry, but I can use Bumblebee, etc).
Ties go to the last artist that posted.

Scoring:
You get 10 points for every entry.
+5 points if you "attack" with multiple characters
-5 points if someone "killed" your opponent before you did, or if you didn't "kill" a character that was previously posted.

Person with the highest score at the end is the WINNER!!

I Wanted To Be A...

I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up (in some ways I still don't), but while I was seven I probably thought about some of the more different jobs including, a chef (yay food!), a detective (what can I say, I digged the trench-coat), a veterinarian (I still love animals), and would you believe, a fighter pilot! The F-15 was my absolute favourite airplane, but I didn't want join the military, which thus ended my piloting career before it started.  :)

Prompt - The Warlock's Castle

"The warlock's castle has lied in ruins for hundreds of years. It was rumoured to have contained lost artifacts and treasures of the ancient wars. Tales tell of dark denizens of all kinds that have since called this castle their home, twisting the halls of old into a maze that stretches into perhaps the very Shadowdark itself. Many a foolish adventurer has sought to uncover its secrets, but none have ever returned. But, you are no mere adventurer. You have fought back the snake cultists of Zehir, and even kept Orcus, prince of the undead, from entering the world. You are a hero, and have braved the depths of the warlock's castle, springing traps and fighting off all manner of evil creatures. However, it seems there is one room left yet to explore. You approach the large wooden door cautiously, as a chill runs up your spine. Could what is behind the door be the end of your weary journey, or be the end of you? You carefully open the door and see..."

Cheating a bit here too... The prompt was for a girl and a car, so I drew a girl car.
Didn't have enough time to draw Arcee in her 'bot form, so hope you don't mind her Cybertronian sports car mode.  ;)
